There is no light without shadow, just as there is no happiness without pain.. Serie of slides from our film photo library. Photos taken from the shadows playing with lights, from different parts of the world in the 80´s decade.
Unwanted shadows may ruin a photo. But in this case the shadows add contrast to the photographs and help to focus the subject. These are shadows that shape the light and draw attention to the light or the contrast areas. Using deliberate shadows in photography can help to get stronger images. .
