The body of the FE has no major damage or flaws, but there are some slight marks due to age deterioration. Considering its age, it is still a beautiful object. The electrical activation of the camera is OK, and the battery container is clean and free of corrosion. The shutter is OK and the speed cuts smoothly from low to high speed (although its accuracy is unknown). The exposure meter changes depending on the light received, but the accuracy is also unknown. The liquid crystal inside the prism is sharp and bright and can be observed without problems. There are specks of dust in the viewfinder, which do not affect visibility. The film chamber and the shutter curtain are clean and in perfect condition as well as the focusing screen. The film counter is working properly. Double exposure lever operates properly. The self-timer (and its light) operates smoothly. The light seals still have some time to go before they would need to be replaced.

The appearance of the Nikon Nikkor K Auto 50mm F2 lens is also nice, but there are slight cosmetic traces due to age deterioration. There are no operational problems. The helicoid is smooth, and the aperture blades look beautiful. There are no scuffs or scratches on the lenses, no fungus or haze and no loss of lubricant. There is a tiny amount of dust inside the lens, some speck, but this does not affect the image quality at all, even in backlit photos. SB-14 in working condition, is also included.
